Driving directions: From the airport take the motorway and follow the road, turning slightly to the left. Take the first exit for Ponta Delgada / Porto, and continue down the tree-lined avenue. At the roundabout take the second exit, and follow the signs for Centro.
Take Rua de Lisboa until the beer factory Melo Abreu is on the left. Turn right and pass São José Church on the right, to the main road with a fortress. Turn left and continue along the Avenue for one kilometre. The marina is on the right and the hotel is on the left.
The best way to get around is on foot, bicycle or by hire car.
